When the basic shell has been constructed you can cover this conical structure with smaller branches, cloth such as blankets, curtains, carpet and so forth. Leaves and grass also work as a covering. If your structure is constructed in an area where there is no danger of escaping natural gas or propane you may build a small pit fire inside. There will be a natural center hole in conical shelters that will allow the smoke to rise and escape from inside.
The next element to consider is how durable the metal shed will be. The life-span of metal sheds varies greatly and depends on the atmospheric conditions they are exposed to. The basic construction of most metal sheds on the UK market today comprise of an internal frame which is covered by panels of sheet metal on the outside. There are different framing systems produced by different shed manufacturers and they vary the thickness of the metal sheets used. Sheet metal panels of good quality should be galvanized to reduce the risk of rusting and may have a powder or paint finish to offer further protection. This can also enhance the appearance of the metal shed.
Building the roof frame is probably the hardest part in the construction of the shed. Take your time when cutting the angels on the rafters. Once you have your first set of truss assembled, use it as a template to build the rest. If the roof truss are not all exactly the same, the roof will not be even. I use a miter saw to cut all the framing materials, it makes cutting angels fast and simple.
