Now that you have a tornado shelter, you'll need to make sure you stock it with the supplies that you will need when it's in use. Bottled water, non-perishable food items, flashlights, batteries, a transistor radio, even a board game or two if you have children that need a distraction. Be sure you check your supplies often to see if anything needs to be replenished.Metal Garden Sheds
Many people get so excited about building the shed that they forget about laying the foundation. You need to set your shed up the right way with a proper base, which means getting wood and laying it down on the ground to form a deck or pier. The best way to do this is to dig a few inches below ground level and set the planks of wood firmly in the ground, with square blocks for the corners for stability on both sides.
Does the shelter have a batterer intervention program or workshop and a women's support group? In other words, does it provide counselling for abusers as well as ongoing succour for their victims? Are the programs run only by volunteers (laymen peers)? Are professionals involved in any of the activities and, if so, in what capacity (consultative, supervisory)?
The first element you need to consider when buying a metal shed is what you are planning to use your shed for? The primary use for metal sheds is storage but think specifically about what you want to store; tools, garden furniture, bicycles, lawn mower, car parts. Will it matter if these items are exposed to extreme hot or cold? How often will you need access to the items? How big are they? How valuable are they? Once you have considered these factors, you'll be in a better position to decide which metal shed will be best for your needs.
