After making some dietary changes, you can also step up your treatments of your dogs' hair itself to keep that excessive shedding in check. One of my favorites, probably because it's easy, is a beer rinse. After a bath, just pour a beer down your dog's back from neck to butt, massage down into their fur for a minute and let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse. The hops leaves behind a beautiful shine. And when you're done bathing your dog, you should have a beer too because let's face it, it's kind of a lot of work.
One thing to look at then, if you feel like your dog is shedding too much is what is the temperature like in your house and how much time does your dog spend inside? A little more time spent outdoors, letting their body sync with the real temperature may help control excessive shedding.
To keep tools off the ground, and thereby ensure walkways remain clear, consider installing a tool hanger along the shed walls or on the back of the door. This works especially well for tools with long handles such as rakes, hoes and shovels that easily fall over when stacked in a corner.
Most people in disasters handle the loss, chaos, and uncertainty with aplomb and often quiet dignity. This was surely the case with several couples, apparently well educated, with comfortable if not great wealth, who sat and quietly offered the warmth of their wisdom to anyone within speaking distance: no one was hurt, that stuff was just stuff Weve come back from tough times before. That approach was not limited to the older and wiser. The ten year old daughter (going on 30) of a mother whose anxiety attack totally immobilized mom tried calming her with: mom, were ok Well get a new place We lost things, not people.
