From outside the shelter at night you could see orange flames peek beyond the mountains turning the black smoke above them to a red sky, only a few miles from the Sierra Vista school serving as an emergency shelter. Usually in disaster response the event goes through first Tornadoes, hurricanes, sometimes flooding. But with fires the survivors get to watch. For responders this creates an added variable. Now let's move in to the Tack Room. Winter was cold so you did not spend much time in here so clean the layer of dust that has accumulated on everything. With the warm weather it is time to clean and repair all your blankets and put them away for next winter. Wrap them in plastic or use vacuum bags to keep them fresh and bug free for next winter. I have seen articles that say there are services that will do this but I have not been able to find one.
