Our staff asked me to talk to a woman who was crying hysterically alongside her silent husband. After she calmed enough to tell her tale, she laughed, be careful what you wish for, Lew. I always taught my kids to trust in the Lord. No surprise then that my boy (age 25) said mom Im staying, the Lord will protect me. When asked how she handled that irony, she quickly added I told him that he could stay but I thought Jesus told those guys to come get my ass out of here so were leaving!
To achieve an exterior Japanese garden shed feel, some classic elements to consider include a tiled overhanging roof and large translucent-paned windows and doors traditionally known as Shoji. Though Shoji are traditionally paper panels in a wooden frame, you can place such panels behind glass sliding doors and windows to achieve a more durable exterior. A bench outside the door for taking off your shoes will complete the look.
After making some dietary changes, you can also step up your treatments of your dogs' hair itself to keep that excessive shedding in check. One of my favorites, probably because it's easy, is a beer rinse. After a bath, just pour a beer down your dog's back from neck to butt, massage down into their fur for a minute and let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse. The hops leaves behind a beautiful shine. And when you're done bathing your dog, you should have a beer too because let's face it, it's kind of a lot of work.
Ask for your new pets medical history - While some shelters will spay/neuter or vaccinate pets, not all do. Make sure you know what medical treatment your pet has had, and what services it may need. It's often best to plan on a vet check-up shortly after you adopt regardless of your pets known history.
